Powder Coating FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) About Decoral
WHAT IS DECORAL SYSTEM? Decoral is a custom finish coating system able to apply any finish, such as realistic wood grains, marble/granite effects and any other photographic images on almost any material, such as aluminum, steel, iron, plastic, PVC, MDF, glass etc. with different shapes.
HOW DOES DECORAL SYSTEM WORK? The products are initially painted (with powder coating or wet paints). A transfer film, printed with special inks, is applied over the products with a tight contact. The products are then loaded inside a specific machine which under pressure and temperature is able to vaporize the inks which penetrate inside the paint layer previously applied. The products are then taken out from the powder coating machine and the exhausted films easily removed. At this point the products are completely decorated and ready for shipment. No extra protection coating is required.
